We are pleased to introduce your employees to the REACH Mentorship Program: Career Exploration Initiative and the ways they can help young people explore careers and prepare for their futures. 

 

Bring CYC to Your Workplace 

CYC offers in-person Lunch & Learn sessions for organizations interested in recruiting Career Exploration Mentors. During the session, CYC staff will review: 

• The REACH Mentorship Program: Career Exploration Initiative 

• The role and expectations of a Career Exploration Mentor 

• How mentors support career exploration and workplace readiness 

• Mentor time commitments and program activities 

• CYC’s screening, onboarding, training, and support process 

• Steps to become an approved CYC mentor 

• Ways employees can use their professional experience and networks to support students 

 

Serve as Your Organization’s Orientation Organizer 

As the designated Orientation Organizer, you will serve as the primary contact between CYC and your organization. Your responsibilities include: 

• Select a date and promote the date using the attached flyer 

• Coordinating employee sign-ups  

• Sharing the final participant list with CYC 2 business days before the session 

• Reserving a space for up to 20 participants (minimum of 6 to book session) 

• Providing CYC with relevant scheduling, access, parking, and logistical details 

After selecting a date, please collect employee sign-ups, reserve the meeting space, and share the participant list and location details with CYC before the session.
