The challenges of 2020 are difficult on a global scale and even more so for our under resourced students. Across the board program funding has been cut causing significant shifts in how CYC will support the 6,000 students we serve. The word “pivot” is almost become cliche, but that’s exactly what we’re doing to effectively address the challenges before us. As a part of our pivot, CYC is working to be more intentional about telling our 30 year history while simultaneously sharing our strategies for the present and our vision for the future.

One way to better tell our story is through our new “Always CYC” Friend Raising Series. “Always CYC” is an ongoing campaign designed to reengage old friends and alumni and to connect with new friends to share the impact stories of our students, mentors, volunteers and partners across the region.

Please join us on the evening of September 25th, from 6:00 to 8:30 for the first virtual event in our series:

A Night of Jazz with Ed “Sax” Thomas
A live-streamed Contemporary Jazz concert celebrating our mentees, mentors and mission.

It will be a night of good music for a great cause.
We look forward to celebrating with you.
