Unite Your Team Through the Act of Giving Back


Want to know one of the best ways to build a deeper sense of team and collective accomplishment among your group? Volunteer together. If your business, organization, or social group is seeking to adopt a cause, we truly would appreciate your time and energy. Here are just some of the ways CYC currently is partnering with groups in Cincinnati.



Partners in Education

The Partners in Education program (PIE) links businesses and local organizations with a particular Cincinnati Public School (CPS) school in order to expand the resources available to students. The type and amount of support provided varies by partner but typically includes some of the following:
  • Employee volunteers in the classroom
  • Mentors and tutors
  • Career exploration and job shadowing opportunities
  • Training and support opportunities
  • Internships
  • Assistance with school events, clubs, and contests
  • Monetary donations
70 of the 81 schools in the CPS district and the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Inner-City Schools partner with over 120 organizations and businesses in the Cincinnati area. While this seems sufficient, the need is still great: There are 13 schools with very little partner support or no partner at all. Please contact the Partners in Education program for more information on becoming a partner.

Other Ways to Group Volunteer


Share Your Expertise
If you are an expert in your field, you can possibly share your expertise with CYC volunteers and staff and with students in the Cincinnati Public Schools. For example, you can share your expertise in child development with CYC volunteers to help them be better equipped at working with children. Or, you can share your expertise in different professional disciplines with students who may be interested in learning more about different careers. The possibilities are endless!
